CHEF WILLIAM ORTIZ
The passion in Pisqu’s food has been nurtured and well thought of by the head chef William Ortiz.
Born in the Amazonas of Peru, the art of cooking flows through his veins. His love for food and use of natural and moreover native Peruvian ingredients is his trademark and sets his cooking apart.
His ambition to perfect his cooking techniques as well as to impart his knowledge of the ingredients the Amazon has to offer, had taken him around some of the most demanding kitchens in Lima and various Luxury five star London hotels such as the Savoy, Dorchester and Berkeley.
It is at Pisqu where his wealth of experience and use of natural ingredients are truly at best: freedom in creativity using organic and healthy Peruvian inputs in his traditional yet modern dishes.
PISQU promotes Peruvian culture and maintains an active role in supporting social projects in our communities where it is proud to be a partner most recently to Kusi Kawsay ecological school.
